Here's another non-Verizon story for our members who may be interested. According to the latest intel, T-Mobile is currently testing the Sony Xperia Z superphone to see if they will launch it on their network. That's excellent news for folks on T-Mo (or thinking of switching to them) and were enamored by Sony's svelt new water-proof flagship. If T-Mobile does launch the device on their network, it will likely retail for $99 bucks and a $20 per month for 20 months payment plan (per their new pricing structure). It's easy to be impressed by this device and it is exciting that it might make it to the United States. The specs and quality are top-notch. Here's a refresh:
  • Waterproof and dustproof designed case
  • Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • LTE connectivity
  • 5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display
  • 13MP rear camera with LED flash
  • 2.2MP front-facing camera
  • Quad-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor
  • 2GB of RAM
  • 16GB of expandable storage space
  • 2,330 mAh battery
The pictures above are supposedly leaked versions of a T-Mo test prototype. We will keep you in the know if we find out more.

It's worth noting this has the Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 quad-core processor. While it's great, it's not the newer and faster Snapdragon 600 or 800.
