Samsung just announced the official US carrier availability for their flagship Samsung Galaxy S4 on seven of the carriers: AT&T, U.S. Cellular, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Cricket and C Spire. T-Mobile and Sprint also announced their pricing and launch dates including preorder dates. AT&T has already had the device up for preorder for a short time now. Both T-Mobile and Sprint will offer the device for just $149.99 up front.

With Sprint, that price is with a two-year contract. Sprint's retail ship date is April 27, with pre-orders opening on April 18.

Update: Earlier we forgot to mention the particulars of Sprint's offer which might lead to some confusion. Here's the details from the press release,

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (BUSINESS WIRE), April 17, 2013 - Sprint (NYSE:S) will offer Samsung Galaxy S® 4 (16GB version) beginning on Saturday, April 27, for $249.99 (excluding taxes) with a new line or eligible upgrade and two-year service agreement. For a limited time only, new customers who switch their phone number to Sprint from another carrier will receive an additional $100 instant credit, reducing the price of Galaxy S 4 to $149.99 (excluding taxes).

For T-Mobile, that Galaxy S4 the carrier service is contract free due to their new "Un-Carrier" pricing plans. You will need to pay the cost of the device with 24 monthly installments of $20 per month for two years on top of the initial $150. The total cost of the device is $630. T-Mobile's version will be available for customers on April 24th.

We will keep an eye out for Verizon's info and share it as soon as it becomes available.

LOL, Verizon needs a couple of more weeks to tag the front and back and bloat the heck out of it, then it will be available for $299 plus a two year contract.:p

AKA, "how can we gouge the customer with this"? :D

I have a feeling their price will be higher than $149.99. They seem to be the most expensive on the same phones that other carriers have (no surprise there, from a soon-to-be ex-Verizon customer ;) ).

O/T, but I'm still trying to figure out why T-Mobile wants $500+ to buy the same phone I can buy from the Google Play store for $349.99...
