We have an intriguing new Asus tablet that was recently announced. It's a new version of a Transformer called the Transformer Book Duet TD300. It's claim to fame is that it is a dual-boot Windows 8.1/Android 4.2.2 Tablet.

  • Up to 128GB SSD in Tablet
  • Up to 1TB HDD in Dock
  • 38WHr battery, estimated battery life around 5 hours in Windows 8.1 and 6 hours in Android 4.2.2.
  • 802.11ac Wi-Fi; Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR
  • Tablet ports: Micro SD card, Headphone jack, DC jack
  • Keyboard dock ports: 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0, 10/100Mbit/s LAN, HDMI 1.4, audio combo jack, DC jack
 
I think something like this would solve all the current issues I'm having in my office.

I may not be able to game on it but I sure could use it for everything else.
 
Not interested in a 13" tablet. This device with a 10" screen could be a winner, assuming it switches between Windows and Android quickly enough.

Pretty good specs - I'd guess the high-end configuration would retail for at least $1800, basically a pretty good ultrabook that dual boots Android.
