taking screenshots?

Is there a way to take screenshots on a non rooted D2G without using that usb cable thing (think it was the sdk)? I was hoping there might be a way now with the gingerbread update. Is there?

That app doesn't work on D2G sadly, and the no root version requires some weird usb setup thin that's practically the sdk method. Is there really no other way?
