Task manager deleting texts?

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced a task manager deleting text messages. Ever since I started using a task manager this has happened; I've been through 3 different ones!

Does anyone know a solution or fix for this? (that doesn't require uninstalling task manager)

Just remove the task manager, it's mostly useless.

If you need to shut down a rogue app you can use the application control that comes with the phone.

Otherwise let the system do it's job.

Its a known issue with Android 2.0+, its not the task killer. Used to happen to me once a week, usually once one of my threads reached around 1000 txts or so. But now that i have started using Handcent i haven't had that problem. But i have read of others having their txts being erased no matter if they use the default messenger or handcent messenger or chompsms. Try a different messenger and see if it fixes the problem
