Tasker Question - Car Dock Alert

I posted a thread some time ago in a different part of the site on making an alarm for when i leave my phone in the car dock after the car is turned off. (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-general-discussions/140630-forgetful-car-dock-users.html)

Is this something tasker can do?

If you have a switched power source (power off with ignition off), that is easy to accomplish. Build a profile that senses both a car dock event and no power event. Add a task that alarms the tune of your choice.

If your power source is not switched -- much more difficult. You would need to monitor for location change and alert if docked and the car is still beyond your preferred threshold. I suspect that would be highly annoying at stoplights, etc.

Great. The power source is switched and cuts off when the car is shut off. I just found a weekend project
