Tethering to a PSP

Is it possible to tether a droid1 to a PSP either by wifi or with some sort of cable? I' currently running the manual update 2.2.
 
I know in the past with my WinMo phone I could not connect my psp. PsP will not connect to a device in adhoc mode.
