Text Message Volume

Is there a setting for only text message notification? My current ring tone for the phone isn't that loud, so I keep the volume on the phone a bit up, but the text message notification tone is very loud. Is there a way to lower the volume for just the text message notification?

Under Settings - Sounds notification volume. But this is not just for text it's for all notifications.

I had the same problem. I went to Market, downloaded "Volume Locker", and "Audio Manager Pro". The audio manager pro lets you adjust the different volumes. Then go into volume locker and set the lock on the volumes. Worked good.
