Text messages – no color differentiations

Good day. Is there a way to set different color fonts for incoming and outgoing text messages. My Droid Bionic did it automatically, but not my new Droid Maxx.

Not with the stock messaging app, or with Hangouts that I can tell (though Hangouts shows your avatar on the right and received contacts avatars on the left). There are a bunch of messaging apps in the Play Store that I bet can do this, though.

I have started using an app called Textra, let's you set up individual bubble colors for you and contacts in individual text chains, haven't tried group.
