text recipient limit?

I am trying to send text message notifications to members of my organization and the text message system that comes with the phone has a 20 recipient limit. I downloaded a third party text program but I am Not sure if all of the recipients are getting the message. Is there a way around the recipient limit?

Jake, are they all on Verizon? If so, you can do it via email, which seems much easier? It they are VZW customers then you can do Email to SMS termination by sending an email to [email protected]. You would want to replace the 5555551212 with the real phone numbers. You could easily make a distribution list for this, and use it anytime.
