Text to landline error

OK. i know there is a thread for this, but it doesnt help and i dont wanna bump an old thread. Ok so i am trying to text my friend, who has a mobile phone and is tagged as a mobile phone,but when i send a message, i get a message from a different number saying i am trying to text a landline. Help please!
