Text-Tone IDs?

I was setting ringtone IDs for people and then when i received a text I realized the IDs I set don't play for when I receive a text. Can I set a tone for a Text ID? How?

Take a look at Ringo in the market. You can assign different ring tone to voice and SMS. The Lite version is free and easy to use.
