Texting problems since ics

I've noticed that a lot of people are having texting problems since ics update and a lot of people are blaming their apps. It seems the problem is with ics because I've tried other app for texting they have same or similar problems.

I have no issues on ICS.

I have no issues with texting on ICS that weren't there before ICS.
Could you please elaborate?

Not getting a notice in status bar. I wss using Handcent and when I try to go into Bubble settings the app force closes. I've also tried a few others similar problems.Even though I don't use go launcher I'm using Go SMS Pro. It's OK but I Handcent better.
