1. Dummy guide for an intro to the droid os. Where do I start I want to be able to hack my X, learn how to properly configure and manage my device. Look I have not just fallen off the turnip truck I have 20 years of experience in other disciplines.

2. Back up your system.

Kind of... The only reason I wanted my X rooted is I wanted CityID and other nonsense off there.

There is "easy root" on the market... or it was. There is also a Windows way to do it
