Best Spider-Man movie yet. Really captured the spirit of the comics- I love how they borrow elements from Ultimate and Amazing Spider-Man while also trying to do something unique. Andrew Garfield's a perfect geeky, likeable Parker, and an even better wise-cracking, cheesy Spider-Man. Foxx did a great job at making me feel for Electro, and I thought DeHaan was perfectly cast. I'm definitely excited for future movies, especially Venom and Sinister Six. Webb and his writers get these characters and know what they're doing with them, and I'm happy about that.

I'd honestly put this against TDK as best (well, my favorite, anyway) super hero movie, even though they're obviously quite different. Much better than Marvel's films as of lately. The Avengers was great, but it felt like more action than story (plus, I really don't give a crap about Loki), and I haven't really been too impressed by any other Marvel film since Iron Man 1.

I liked Garfield in this one more than I did in the first, I felt he was way too cocky in the first one. Too much banter in his crime fighting for my taste, though there was some of that in this one as well. I know he is supposed to be a playful super hero, just sometimes I could do with less.

Other than the fact they killed off Gwen Stacy I was a fan of this movie. I am sure they had to do it as poor Peter can never have a successful love interest, just sucks, I really liked her in that role.

Watching reviews on the as2 movie they kiiled off Gwen because they had to in order to stick with the story line from the comic they are getting their source information from.
My biggest problem with the movie is all the trailer. I just wish they would show one or 2 trailers and that is it. They are doing the same thing with X-men DOFP and I am literally having to ignore and turn off the tv when they show trailers.
The AS2 storyline was a good one but with all the characters they were trying to introduce it felt crowded. I wish they would have had more on screen with electro and allowed Harry more time to develop into the Goblin vs rush him into the role. Overall still a good movie.
