the december 11th update

sorry im new and was wondering if the update on the 11th was going to be android 2.1? if not when android 2.1 does come out will droid users be able to upgrade to the new os?

The December 11th update has all ready begun. It is a patch update to fix some minor bugs. Such as call quaility, bluethooth issues, the camera...etc. There is a huge post on the front page of the forums... its over 15 pages of info. 2.1 is a little bit away. Hang out for while, you will know when something thing is getting ready to be released.
