I actually prefer that the LED stays solid and doesnt blink at all. That's how I had it on the D1 and X.

I agree, but I'm sure it will easily be remedied, whether it's provided by an app or custom rom.

I don't wanna use a Custom ROM on this at first. I love ICS stock. I'll root it, but that'll be it for a few months/weeks/days.

An app? I don't wanna use some poorly built LED notification app some guy built.
Sorry if I sound like a pessimist; I'm not intentionally doing it.
