The why your Droid Rocks thread

Ok so I am driving to a restaurant tonight locally and a bridge near me is closed/backed up due to an accident. I am about to get on line anyway to to wait to cross when I realized in the nick of time that I could flip on the navigation and a new route and circumvent the bridge. Thats exactly what I did and the Droid GPS was incredible.

Thats is one of many reasons why my Droid rocks!

Whats yours?

My droid rocks because:

It replaced a Garmin GPS and a Sirius satellite receiver that were both hanging from my windshield. Even after the addition of the $30 data plan I'm coming out ahead because I reduced my TXT plan (use Twitdroid instead of TXT for Twitter) and cancelled my Sirius radio subscription.

Because, it "just does". :)

1.) GPS
2.) Turn-by-turn directions.
3.) All e-mail accounts in one spot.
4.) Speed.
5.) Call clarity / network.
6.) Apps I actually need and use.
7.) Great community and support.

6. My PC (not quite replaced, but gets a lot less use these days)

because my bro and me were at my moms and he had his iphone we both pulled up youtube apps and were going to "race" i hit the wrong vid it loaded i went back hit the right vid and his i phone started playing like 2 seconds before mine. then we re-ran it on a different vid and droid won by a lot

This amazing device attracts people. Almost every time I've used my Droid in public someone notices and asks to take a closer look

google maps! A Lot of freeway construction around my area, I just fire up gmaps with the traffic overlay saves me a lot of time on the road.

Because I can lay in bed and open my gphone app and watch all the downloaded videos on my computer/TV without even getting out of bed.

Because I no longer have to get up from playing a video game to look up a cheat code, map, or strategy guide. I simply pull out my phone, hit voice search, and keep on playing.

I can also reset my fantasy lineup five minutes before gametime when I forget to do so before I leave the house.

I also use it at work all the time (I work at a video store). People ask stuff like "what was that baseball movie with Kevin Costner?" I hit voice search, say "baseball movie Kevin Costner," and reply with "did you mean Field of Dreams or For the Love of the Game?"

Love this phone.

One more:
Because I'm a gadget whore, that's why.
