Over the past few days there have been several Galaxy S8 leaks. We have seen a press render and even a few blurry wobbly videos of the device. Today BGR posted a very clean photo of the device. In this device we can clearly see the nearly bezeless display, the curved corners of the screen, the all new on screen nav buttons, and the fresh UI of the phone. You can also see the curved edges on the front and back similar to the design language of the Note 7. The metal frame that wraps around the body is also rounded. We also see an extra button on the right edge of the phone which could be used to activate Samsung's personal assistant. Overall this phone is looking quite sleek. What do you think?

Wow. I used Samsung devices for 3 phones in a row and liked them, but swore them off for a return to the stock Android experience. I won't be looking for a new phone when this one drops, but if I was, it'd be at the very top of the list.

I like the look of the LG G6, but I feel like this one offers a similar look that's a bit more sleek. The lack of side bezels is one thing, but the lack of chin and forehead is refreshing!

looks nice, not a fan of Samsung UI though...

Anyone else notice that it has a volume rocker and power button presumably on the same side... and then another power sized button on the other side of the device? Wonder what that is for.

Aborting to the OP, it may be a dedicated button to access Samsung's ai assistant.

good looking phone. only problem i see is people will be long pressing screen all the time when holding it due to curved screen.

Where is the homebutton? The three icons below are just like mine phone's three button?
Where is the fingerprint reader?
Bezel Less display is very nice and the round metal frame ... But I still love the design of s7 edge.
Although it doesn't disappoint me, it does underwhelm me.

Removed the home button to make more screen room. Fingerprint reader is on the back.

Hmm guess rounded displays are going to be the new thing. Looks pretty good to me, but don't think I'll be upgrading

Aspect ratio means black bars while watching YouTube. Probably affects Amazon video and Netflix too. Samsung went away from on screen software buttons after the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. I was happy to buy the S7. S8 seems weird.

Alright I still like the home button, I don't want to press the side button to wake it up every time.
Also if the fingerprint reader is on the back, how can I use a phone case with it? I don't think it is shockproof, I can't handle such a big phone.

My guess is that if there is a button on the other side, it may be for the camera. From the S6 on, a quick double click of the home button launches the camera, even with a screen lock. Without a physical home button, I would imagine Samsung wanted to keep the quick access to the camera.

Since owning the S6 Edge, I just can't get behind this S8/S8+ at all. So much more susceptible to damage, which means those with protection plans/insurance on their phones may see a price increase yet again. Add in the lack of a GOOD glass screen protector, and less (cute) case options, and this phone is most likely not going to be my next phone. And I'm a diehard Samsung fan because of the camera, so it takes a lot to say that.

Might just have to hold out with my S7 until the next Pixel is released.
