The home screen says "This phone belongs to" but I do not know how to enter my name into it. How do I enter the data to have my phone show who the phone belongs to?

There is nothing in the "manual" they provided or in the pdf version on their website.

Thanks in advance for the reply(ies)

I have a Motorola Droid from Verizon.

Settings -> Location & Security -> Custom message

You can put anything you want in there...like a whole paragraph if you want.

I Call.

So who'd you take it from?

Moto Droid's do not have that option stock ...

Whoops, my bad, folks, I didn't know the custom message wasn't a stock option. It's been so long since I've used a stock system. Must be part of UD. Sorry for the mislead.

I was trying to do the same thing. I found you can do it through the Antivirus app. Go to the Antivirus app and at the app's home screen press the menu. Then go Settings->Remote Management->Lost Message->Text Before

Then you can enter whatever you want it to say.

Its a custom text in your lock screen provided thru Antivirus...
As the poster stated above thats how you customize. Hope this helps

I use an app called "Contact Owner", you can get from the markplace. Works great on my stock D1.

Yea but whos really gonna contact you once they find your phone?

Where I live, if you lose a phone like these its sold within 30 mins LOL

That is so true, but if I misplace it at work someone will return it to me.

Also, might get lucky and have my phone found by another Droid Owner who would know that the phone was important to the owner and would return it.

Thanks. I was also looking for this exact thing without having to download and install an antivirus. "Conact Owner" did the job!!!
