this phone is the bomb

I honestly couldn't care less what they come out with in new phones till my contract is up. This phone does everything I wanted a phone to do and more. I'm a long time blackberry user and I'm in love with the droid. I wish the camera was as good as the Bhutan storms but other than that it just rocks. I finally gave up on the 2.1 update and loaded cyanogen. I haven't even overclocked it and its unreal. The dual flash for the camera is just nowhere near as bright as the storms flash so the nighttime photos stink but for normal daytime stuff is OK. I use smart keyboard, the pay version and it held a bunch. I know there are tons of positive and negative threads and some will say this thread is pointless but oh well. I have about 30 apps and can't think of anything I can't do with this thing. Woohoo droid. The main reason I wanted to root was wifi tethering. Heck they advertise that feature for the new palm with the same price data plan so what the heck. When I let someone connect to my "droiddoes" wifi they are amazed. I've only done that a couple times but its a heck of a wow factor.

You should have posted this in the "convince me" thread...I want to go out and buy another one after reading this !!:icon_ banana:..I have my wi-fi SSID set to "Droid"...with the notification sound to match....
