I am on my 3rd thunderbolt.... First 2 had random reboots... I couldnt take it. My latest Thunderbolt has issues with the camera. it will not focus. Everything is blurry. I am going to call Verizon and tell them i want a new phone. Its either gonna be the Charge or the Revolution. Zor I could tuff it out until the Bionic comes out and then call and tell them i want a new phone.

I love the Thunderbolt, just too many problems with it.

Wow, that sucks. I got mine last week and this has been my favorite phone so far. Hopefully you have better luck with your next phone.

I gave up also....iPhone is on the way.

Sorry to hear that my buddy @ work had lots of problems with his TB, trouble getting internet connection no 3g at all not even 1x I can certainly understand why people would get frustrated so I told him I would root or try fixing it and I did installed "das bamfs" 1.7 and it worked he fell in love with it seeing a custom rom on it and the performance is amazing it's sad though that u have to root this device in order to c it's full potential and obviously not everyone knowing how to root wish u luck though.

Sadly you only have fourteen days to swap out your TB.

I have this thing rooted.. tried just about every rom. nothing seems to work. i think i got another bum phone. the first one i got had incredible battery life... but it kept rebooting.

i am just gonna call up verizon and tell them flat out i want a different phone. one of my friends went thru 4 thunderbolts and called them up complaining and they sent him a droid charge. i like this phone.. but way too many problems

Did you guys have applications on the Thunderbolt or was it rebooting stock, without any apps? I think I may have had 3 reboots, max, in the past month. Some of those might have been the extended battery being slightly out of its strong connection perhaps. With so many not reporting problems, it make me wonder how it is that some people keep getting the same problem and others buying at the same time from the same lot have no problems.

My inclination is to wonder whether this is the same as the light leakage "issue" where some would return four phones for a "problem" that many others would never notice or think a real issue exists. It's also probably why the new restocking fee rules went into effect.

Not pointing the finger at anyone, just wonder about all this.

I would be frustrated too and I would probably try a different phone at this point if it was me. I'd recommended the Charge over the Revolution if you are looking to switch. Good luck and hope your next phone works.

Sorry to hear about all the trouble your having with the TB! I just got mine last week, and this thing has been absolutely amazing for me, even with the battery draining so quickly I haven't had any issues. Good luck with the new phone, although honestly you should make them replace the TB one more time and if that has issues go for the Bionic, since we are apparently all so close to actually seeing that phone being released.

I feel your pain instead of big red sending me another TB they sent me a Droid Charge I tried it the battery was 3X better but I still sent it back because I like the sense over touchwiz. The battery is horrible I even bought a 1500mAh battery. Took my phone of charger at 7:45a its now 9:19 I sent I txt msg and I put up this post. Why is my battery at 80% F***!

P.s. I'm no noob so I know what to turn off

Got my 6th TB coming today.. All 5 previous have been manufacturer defects on 3 of them and two showed up at my house broken out of the box. They were willing to talk to me about other phones, but personally I don't want anything else they have out right now. If I had to pick I would go with the Charge, but I can't give up sense for touchwiz. So I will just keep changing out and building my case so when something I really want comes out I can upgrade sooner then the two year date.

I guess my family is just lucky. My wife and I both got TBolt's in March. Both are still stock but with different configurations and apps but neither of us have had reboot issues and the battery lasts all day on 3g and most of the day (8 - 12 hours) on 4g. I absolutely love this phone!
