Thumbnail Cache - can it be cleared?

Trying to figure out a way to clear the thumbnail cache.
I re-rooted tonight and went to BB v0.9 due to the delay in the official 2.1 release and have several thumbnails which are incorrect.

Is there a way to clear the thumbnail cache thus forcing the phone to rebuild the library?

Thanks in advance.

Can you mount the SD card to a PC and just delete the thumbnail files? I did this once, and it achieved what I think you're looking for.

I'm having the exact same problem (including going to BB v0.9)--thumbnails are all random, don't apply to the actual files... clear cache is greyed out. I deleted everything in the DCIM folder (including .thumbnails) and launched the Gallery to make sure it was all gone, then I reloaded it from my PC (minus .thumbnails) and it rebuilt it... WITH ALL THE WRONG THUMBNAILS AGAIN! AAAAAHHH! Halp!

Ok try this (it's a pain but it worked for me):

1) mount the SD card and open DCIM folder on your PC
2) delete the folder .thumbnails
3) rename ALL of your other folders. Even if it's just changing a letter (for example, I changed "Wallpapers" to "Wallpaper")
4) unmount SD card and open gallery
it should be fixed.
