Thunderbult, Bionic, or Droid 2

I get my new every 2 or what ever sometime late March/early April. I'm gonna get my first Droid! I've narrowed it down to the HTC Thunderbult, Droid Bionic, and Droid 2. Which one of the 3 should I get and why, or add your own suggestions.

I'm a big fan of the droid form factor (I love my physical keyboard)..yet between those choices, I'm not sure I'd include the d2. its getting a bit old (as far as these things go) compared to two phones that aren't even released yet. (and if you want 4g, then d2 is definitely out).
I'd say the bionic might have a bit more life on it, in that it will be able to utilize android versions optimized for dual core...however, tbolt being on htc will give it some life if you are rooting. (i mean look at og droid, its still alive and well due to being so open to the dev community)

me, personally, I don't care one wit about 4g, since where I live probably won't get it til the very end of the 4g rollout. (att got 3g here a couple months ago, and tmobile still doesn't have 3g here)

first ask yourself if you want 4g: thunderbolt or bionic?

If you don't want 4g, scratch those two off your list now.

The Thunderbolt and Bionic are both "next gen" phones compared to the D2. Both are 4g and will most likely require a 4g data plan, depending if your area is covered. In terms of hardware they have better specs over the D2 as well, I won't go into this because I don't know much about them.

The current generation of the Droid lineup is great. Have you checked out any other phones other than the D2 such as the Incredible or the X? Check out the store to get a little trial run on them and see which one you'd like best is my best advice. I personally chose the Incredible because of it's speed and HTC sense, which I've grown to love. Also I'm the only one I know that has the Incredible so for me in my group of friends, exclusivity was a good selling point:)
