I can list dozens of de-facto formats that I use that are unsupported within the Android OS, but I would never consider that as a Droid failure. a short-coming, but not a failure
In addition, since .tiff is not listed as a supported format, it is not a failure. It would be a failure if .tiff was advertised as s supported format and Droid did not support it.
In fact, Droid does not ship supporting MS Office docs natively. You need to go to third-party apps or to the cloud for this support.
