Tips on Factory reset while have a rooted device?

For some reason my battery is suddenly draining like crazy. I'm thinking about doing a factory reset, however never done it since I rooted. (I only rooted for wifi tether, nothing else.)

When your phone is rooted and you do a factory reset do you have to do anything special?
When it resets will my phone still be rooted?
If I have to reroot, is it the same process as before?

Thanks for any input.

A factory reset will typically wipe the root so you would need to do it again the same way you did before. At some point it
s likely an over the air root keeper will eliminate the need to re-root.
So there is no app to keep root at the moment then?

You shouldn't lose root by just doing a factory reset, but there have been some cases where people have lost root. Are you running jelly bean or are you still on ice cream sandwich? If you do lose root you can always get it back.
