To all those worried about buying a nexus

Everyone on here is over reacting. It's a wonderful device. Quit worrying about all these overly critical people that are criticising every little insignificant part of the phone. Now go buy it.

Most of the bashing I've seen was from the moto razr owners.

On a lighter note... I just got 10 bucks gift card from Google and held my phone over a card swiper to buy a six pack ...thanks Google .

I think a lot of people bashing the Nexus are just trying to make themselves feel better about the phone theyre stuck with for the next 2 years...i could be wrong but that sure seems to be the way it is...

Alot of negative reviews/comments I've seen have come from people who just demo'd the phone and own another phone of the same generation (razr, rezound, etc). Not trying to point anyone out, but I personally think you need more than a 10-15minute demo at the store to really dig into ICS. At a glance it's not very impressive, but the more you use it the better it gets, that's how I feel about it anyway. Let's put it this way, I put my Incredible down for extended periods of time on my 2nd day of ownership. This nexus, as long as I'm awake, is in my hand at least every 10 minutes. The "honeymoon" phase still lasting 4 days later;)

Do you have google wallet working?

the only thing im worried about is all the complaints with the 4g/3g/data issues. is it possible that it can get fixed with an update? going to the store next week to try out all 3 phones.

Exactly, its mostly people with the razr who are in denial about their phone. I hate to say it and I know that people will disagree with me but I believe that any phone with hardware navigation keys has now become obsolete.

The 4g to 3g issues are due to the fact that the handset is actually having to switch technologies... when you sit near the line... or in an area of weak 4g... you may spend a lot of time (and battery) switching back and forth. Google 3g 4g transition or switching issues... you will see every 4g phone on the market reporting these types of issues.

Not the Rezound, those red buttons could be very popular around xmas time every year! ;)

Yea I have to agree, there is a lot of hate from the Razr folks. I'd be mad too if I was stuck with that phone instead of the nexus beast. I've already convinced 3 of my friends to get it, one of which already has it. The other 2 are waiting on it in the mail. Everyone who has seen my phone is in awe of how great the screen looks, how fast everything is, and how thin it is. This one guy at work came over to me and was telling me how he just upgraded his tmobile samsung phone (it was a galaxy but I don't remember which) to gingerbread. Then he goes "I think its the newest version of android, 2.3, what are you running". When I told him android 4.0 he nearly shat himself haha.
