Is there a way to increase the number of touch points on the droid X? 2 seems very slim

The droid x can only "see" up to two touch points on the screen at once. You can go to the market and do a search for multitouch to get an app that will show you what I mean.

A) what practical use do you have for more than 2 contact points?
B) What is your basis for this being "Slim?"
