Touch screen just stopped responding

I was playing a game when my touch screen just stopped working, I've tried reflashing the rom and a backup of an old rom and nothing. Any ideas?

if flashing an older backup doesn't fix it sounds like a hardware malfunction.

+1 ^^^ this. And it should still be under factory warranty until November 6, 2010.
