Transfer Apps from PC to Phone

I wanted to know the procedure to transfer apps .apk files I have on my pc to my htc Rezound...how do I do this

The simplest way is to email the apk file as an attachment to your gmail account.

On the phone, when you use the Gmail app to read your gmail email, you will automatically be asked if you want to install the attached apk file.
