Transfer photos to Windows 8

How do I transfer photo's from my S3 to Windows 8 on my home computer?

I know there must be something simple im missing when I try to do this but for some reason Windows 8 does not recognize any thing on my phone let alone photo's.

You might have to download Samsung's usb drivers.

There are ways to get conneted, possibly using the USB drivers but check out AirDroid in the Store for transferring files, Check the link in my signature for more options

I had the same problem on Windows 8, all I had to do was go to the Samsung website and download the drivers or you could download them through kies.
