Transfering everything to a replacement phone

So because of multiple issues with my Moto Droid, the techies at VZ decided to send me out a replacement. Now I know my contacts and calendar are all linked to my gmail account but what's the easiest way to transfer everything else? Basically things like Apps and what not. I'm sure I can just swap my SD card so I can have all my pictures and videos. Anyone else have to do this that can offer any advice?

Thanks in advance.

Your contacts and calendar should transfer over via google sync, basically enter your email address.

Your SD card and all it's contents can just be swapped.

Your apps will re-download once you sign into the market, or so that's what I've heard, if not you can just download them again, any paid apps won't be charged again, since the marketplace knows your email address (account) already paid once..

You can use Nandroid to do a complete system backup. This backup covers everything.

Other alternatives to application, sms, etc. backups are Titanium Backup, and ASTRO.
