Does anyone know how to make thee folder icon transparent or semi transparent?

I use Smart Shortcuts for this... after install run it to categorize your apps, and assign a tranparent icon to the categories (I use Launcher Pro icons), and then add a "Smart Shortcuts" shortcut to your homescreen for the catagory to get a pop-up folder.
