Tried EVERYTHING to erase browser history without success

Okay so, I have gone to Settings, cleared the cache, cleared the history. Gone to Bookmarks, selected Menu and Cleared History in Bookmarks. Gone to Google homepage, cleared History and Cache. Downloaded a "History Eraser" and used it and STILL, when I hit the Back Arrow button at the bottom of my phone, all previously viewed webpages appear. Is there no way to completely erase my browser history so that when someone hits the reverse arrow, the previous web pages do not appear???

Try this

On your home screen go to the Menu>Settings>Search>Clear Shortcuts

Then idk, reboot your phone and see if it's gone?

Good luck

You have to clear data from the app. Start at home->menu->applications->all->browser->clear data.
