trouble uploading and downloading photos from/to email...

I am a recent Droid user and when I try to attach a photo to email (Yahoo email) or download a photo from email...the loading "logo" appears and runs forever with out loading up or down. Everything else seems to work fine.
Anything I'm missing??????????
