Trouble with email out of the box

I got my Razr today and love it, but I ran into a snag with putting in my Hotmail email account. I tried to enter it with the Live email account on the phone and it wouldn't accept my user name and password. I had to enter it under the general email account. Has anyone else ran into this problem with their Hotmail account??

You also need to have the incoming (and later the outgoing) email settings correctly entered (server type and address, security, authentication, etc). Looking on your computer for these settings, and also doing an internet search (eg, hotmail android email settings server).. and a bit of trial and error can help
