I just got my Moto Droid. When I depressed the power button when I first got the phone, the screen would turn off immediately. Now, if I depress the power button, the screen will not turn off until the screen time out period expires. I'm afraid this will unnecessarily drain my battery. I thought it may have had something to do with an app I may have downloaded so I uninstalled all apps I downloaded. It did not fix the problem. Moreover, to my suprise, uninstalling apps leaves data from the apps behind. Anyone experience this problem with the power button? Anyone know how to fix it? When uninstalling an app, how do I make sure that all data is deleted related to the app? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
