Turn off updates

How do you turn off updates from like emails and apps updates at certain times. i get the automatic emails from facebook and they usually come at night andi dont want to turn the update themselve off, but i really don't want my phone going off every night, so is there a way to set times limit on when you can and cant receive updates.

You would have to either put your phone into Airplane Mode at night, or go into each app and manually disable updates. If you jst want the phone silent, you can turn the sound all the way down.

Sleep as an droid. That app has a setting that lets you turn off notifications at night I think. It keeps them silent.

Take a look at Silent Time Lite. Free. Allows you to set up schedules when you want your phone to be silent, and allows you to set up exceptions to call through as specific times.
