Turning off animation

I cant get the animations to turn off. Everytime I unlock my phone the sun shines, or rain falls. Is there anyway to get this to stop?. I turned animations off bit that didnt help. Any suggestions

The animation that you are speaking of is most likely the HTC digital clock widget correct ? Ok remove the clock completely and once its gone go back to the screen you had it on and re apply it. It will ask you the weather questions and the last question it ask,you is to check the box for full screen animation... unchecked that box....I hope this helps.
