TV from PC to Android

is there any application that can broadcast tv from your computer to my android? (not orb, it does not work with live tv)

Orb does work with live tv with the right capture card, but is not too reliable (if you drop connection, no way to get what you missed). I have had some luck using beyond tv to record in mpeg4 and then streaming the recording a few minutes delayed in orb. The other thing to look at is rock player that can play most video formats and might be able to take a stream from windows media server (free but you need a static ip or dynamic dns).

Whatever the latest is. I didn't leave it running today, so I'll check the server version when I get home. Client is the current one on the market (have also used Flash in the browser, since it has been available, and it actually gives a little higher quality then the dedicated client).

I use Slingbox solo to get all the content on my cable box on my Droid 1 using the accompanying Slingplayer app. It works great but be forewarned it drains your battery. You can also stream your Slingbox to virtual any internet enabled device, I also use it to stream to my laptop.

How are you getting or how do you intend to get TV to your computer to begin with? Do you already have a tuner?

The TVTuner card and Orb will give you live TV from your PC to phone.... just use flash streaming on the phone stream settings in orb
