is there an app for the moto droid to watch live (or semi live) tv? kinda like sprint tv?

It's going to take more than just an app on your device. There needs to be a service that encodes the video for you to watch.

and I know that a service has to encode it, thats why i compared to sprint tv, they encode it, but that doesnt mean that only they can.

there's an app called tv.com. doesn't have much, but it's something. and if you use atdhe it DOES load through skyfire.

Grumble, I cant remember the name. I'm looking for it now. It was a subscription service, something like $9/month or $50/year. I had it for a month, and it worked great. I basically got TBBT, Futurama, and a few other shows I cared about on the cheap.....

If you have a tv tuner card on your PC, then you can install Orb on it and stream to your Orb.com account, which you can access and watch live TV from your Droid using Opera Mini via mycast.orb.com.... works great for me.
