A couple of powerful new high-end entries into the tablet market debuted at CES. We have the ZTE T-98 and the Acer Iconia Tab A510, which are both quad-core devices running Ice Cream Sandwich. The T-98 from ZTE was a bit of a surprise. We haven't heard any press leaks on this little 7-inch tab at all until now. Along with Android 4.0, this little tablet will be sporting a Tegra 3 quad-core CPU from NVIDIA, and a 1,280-by-800, 7-inch LCD screen.
The second tablet on offer is the Acer Iconia Tab A510. This one too comes with ICS, but this one has a 1,280-by-800 screen 10-inch screen. It also has an HDMI output, MicroSD and SIM card slots, and of course was a Tegra 3 equipped device as well. Strangely, the other thing that differentiated the Acer tablet from the others was that it actually had a third party skin overlay on top of the Ice Cream Sandwich.
No word was shared on either tablet as far as pricing or availability, but we will keep you informed as more details come forth.
