This is occuring on my wife's D2G and not mine (go figure).... both phones are stock, not rooted, running GB.
We use Handcent SMS....
When she deletes txt messages, the message deleted doesn't go away. Shows that it is now an empty message, with no subject, and with a date of January 31st, 1969. The phantom messages also show up in the stock txt messaging app.
I'm not able to delete the phantom messages with handcent, or with the stock txt messaging app.
I did just try "Manage Applications", and cleared the cache and data for both apps, and then when I attempted to delete those phantom messages they disappeared.
