txt msg picture as slideshow?

Why does my phone put pictures in a slideshow format when i receive them as txt msgs.? I then tried sending them a pic and they said it was in a slideshow format for them. I used to be able to send normally but tonight I couldnt

My wife's Eris is doing this too... I'm guessing it might be because of the 1000's of texts she has kept and the phone just locks up when deleting them.

After the July maintenance release, this "feature" surfaced. Many are upset about it, very few like it, and some of us are in the middle and don't care.

Regardless, so far no one has found a workaround.
