Unable to access certain websites

Hi - I'm new to the forum so if this has already been addressed I apologize. I have a really annoying problem. I am not able to access certain websites from my new Droid. I can access certain sites like Facebook and Wikipedia but I can't access other sites that I should be able to access like Google and ESPN. When I try to accesss these sites, the yellow bar stops about half way across and then that thing just keeps circling. Any suggestions?

I was having trouble trying to connect via 3g earlier this evening, had to power down and restart. That fixed it.

That did it. Thanks very much. I need to start thinking of my Droid like my computer - when in doubt, shut it down and reboot.

I came from a windows mobile phone, so restarts are second nature to me. Lol
