Unable to delete Gallery thumbnails

Hi guys first post here and I seem to have an issue I haven't been able find much on. So I had taken some screenshots and deleted them through astro I believe and now im not able to delete the thumbnails from my photo gallery. Im not sure where in the phone it saves the thumbnail files for the gallery. If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks droid family!

Easier method is to delete .thumbnails in the DCIM folder, clear data in gallery and photowidget.

Thanks a lot guys, you've helped me out greatly. Sorry for the late response but yes, It was as simple as using AndExplorer to find and delete the files. Totally off topic but have you guys checked out the app "Square"? It allows you to accept credit card payments from anyone, they even send a free card reader that plugs in via audio jack. Now myy new favorite line is "I now accept credit..."
