Unable to flash SBF

Hello there,
I have a Droid 1 (Milestone) and I am attempting to root it. I have an SBF and the update.zip file.
I power the phone holding "UP" to get the boot-loader. I open RSD lite V4.6.
After seeing my phone and selecting the SBF I click start and it always throws this message:
Phone[0000]: Phone is not compatible with multi-interface super-file. (0x703B);

I have tried RSD lite V4.6, 4.7 (with the patch), and 4.8
I believe I got the motorola drivers.
I am running a Windows Vista 64bit. Android 2.2.1.
BTW I am a major noob and all files were gotten from here: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-labs/74028-root-droid-1-regardless-os-version.html
PLEASE HELP ME.
