Unable to install USB drivers (Help)

*** PROBLEM SOLVED *** You can update the driver of "Unknown Device" and it works

Hi....

I am using the the directions on the unrevoked website to install the USB drivers ("hboot driver install"). It's at this site:

public:windows_hboot_driver_install [RootWiki]

I hold down the volume and power keys and it starts in the "hboot menu". I then plug in the phone to my USB port.

Here's where it doesn't go right... it shows up in my device driver as "unknown device" rather than "Android 1.0" like the instructions indicate.

Can anyone help me resolve this?

(I'm using Windows 7 64-bit)

Thanks!!!!

I rooted my phone on a Win7 64bit PC as well using the same method. The only advice I can give is follow the instructions TO A T. Do EVERYTHING they say to do. If it doesn't work then start over.
