undervolting kernel question

Are there any drawbacks to undervolting your kernel? i know instablity, but i mean if i lower mine to the lowest it can go, will it fry? or can i just expect waaay better battery life?

Under volting or lowering clock speed? I think your talking about lowering clock speed with apps like setcpu. Try it and see, I heard the gn doesn't do well under 1000mhz though.... g/l

No, lowering the voltage.

Lowering the voltage can lead to instability, but it won't hurt anything. You'll simply enter a reboot cycle or you'll get random reboots occasionally.
