Unfortunately the System UI has stopped

That is the message I get when I connect to my Lapdock 500 and no functionality. Anyone have any advice. It began after the ICS update. My Maxx is running fine other than that.

This seems to be a bug in Motorola ICS for whatever reason, as it is affecting the leaked ICS builds for the Bionic as well. Honestly, we thought it had something to do with the leak, but with your experience it would seem it isn't a leak issue as it affects other phones as well.

For what it's worth, the issue is that the stock Moto launcher doesn't support the lapdock's 1366x768 resolution. The fix is to use a 3rd party launcher instead. For whatever reason, it seems like Moto has dropped lapdock support with ICS.

I have the same issue with my RAZR Maxx, I get a repeating error "Unfortunately, system U/I has stopped". Spoke to Verizon tech support, said it was a know issue with the lapdocks and that I should contact Motorola tech support, an update to fix it was scheduled for September.

The Motorola tech I spoke with was not versed at all in the problem, but on his advice I cleared the data and cache for the Motorola Doc Service app, and the next time I plugged in to the doc, the error message went away, but clearly the interface is broken. What I see is, I believe, supposed to be a landscape view of my main screen, but it is anything but that.

The Lapdock interface is clearly deeply broken right now. Anyone else having this or know anything more.
